Zip screens lock the fabric into side channels, so it stays taut against wind and seals the edges. Lower them to block afternoon sun, breeze or rain, and raise them away when you want the open air.

Use the alfresco in more weather.

An alfresco is only useful when it is comfortable. A zip screen turns a sun-baked or windy terrace into a sheltered room, and the right mesh fabric keeps the view out to the garden or pool.

Zip screens can be manual or motorised, and work alongside outdoor awnings for a complete shading plan.
